This is another thing I wonder about.

Freewill gives man comfort. It gives him a handle on his part in the scheme of things.

For example: we blame others for their failures -- that is, in the sense that they disappoint us.

But consider the part that G-d plays in the event in question. If G-d is not sovereign, then clearly the action of the individual places the blame solely on him.

I believe that it is by the love that Christ has also imputed on us that causes us to consider the bigger picture. You know people who never hold a grudge when others fail them?

This is not to negate personal responsibility. Our own righteousness is still required. Paul says, "we obey sin which leads to death, while we practice obedience which leads to righteousness."

Any thoughts on this?
