Miavita Tip of the Day
As little as one weekly meal of fish reduces a
middle-aged adult's chances of a fatal heart attack by as much as 50 percent.
Salmon, bluefish, mackerel, sardines, swordfish and tuna are excellent choices.
But all fish or shellfish is rich in protein and low in saturated fat. Fattier
fish have more of the omega-3 fatty acids that are good for your heart --
remember that even the fattiest fish has less fat than the leanest red
meat.
