What does a heart attack feel like?
Have you ever had a "charlie horse"? You can relieve the pain of a charlie horse by moving. You cannot ease the pain of a heart attack.
To me it was like someone putting pressure on the chest. I could breathe but only very shallow. And the pressure radiated down both arms. I did not have shortness of breath like some do.
Had alwasy heard it was the left arm. But I read that it could also be the right arm. It can also be both.
A friend with a pacemaker told me ti felt like fire, or burning on the chest.
It can also feel like gas burning in the throat. Or something stuck in your throat, but you can't swallow it.
What did yours feel like?
