Parsha 21.iv (Exodus 33:17-23) was our first reading.
What do we learn about G-d from this incident? Why are we allowed to see the back of G-d but not the front? Did Jesus allude to this in John 3?
Second reading: 1-Samuel 14.
"Nothing restrains JEHOVAH from saving," says verse 6. So, can anything stop the Lord from answering our plea for deliverance?
Jonathan the son of King Saul did not hear his father's commmand to abstain from food. So when he ate the honey he became guilty. Is ignorance and excuse from sinning when we do it inadverdantly?
First Chronicles Chapter 9 was our third reading this smorning.
The names read are real. We will inherit His promises along with those whose names have been recorded for an inheritance. And along with this inheritance comes a duty.
The finalreading of our meeting was 1-Timothy 2.
"Pray for kings." We use this exhotation as a precedent for praying for our leaders in government.
