Thanking The Father for a specially spirited meeting this morning.
We are praying for Eddie to be baptized. We spoke with him over the weekend.

Reading One: Today's Parsha (Exodus 35:1-29).

"35,2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of solemn rest to the LORD; whosoever doeth any work therein shall be put to death. " There is only one record of this occuring. But the violation is a symptom, not a crime. Living in ognorance and rebelling against G-d Instruciions is a sign of a deeper cause. Spiritual death ultimately results in physical death.

Only In Messiah is one free to obey G-d's Direction. He that obeys the commandments has life.

The Second Reading came from First Samuel Chapter 18.

Though Saul tried to kill David by cunning, Saul was saved through love relationship between his Son Jonathan and David. Later we learn that David and Jonathan made a covenant by which Saul's lineage was spared.

Saul, impassioned by a spirit, tried to use David's passion to destroy him, to no avail. The arranged marriage was actually a love relationship. Saul's daughter would not conspire against David, but truly wanted to marry him.

1-Chronicles 13 was the the reading.

David seeks to bring the Ark of G-d to Jerusalem with disastrous consequences. David knew of the power of G-d speaking through the Ark.

In the 20th Century the crazed dictator Adolph Hitler sought to discover the Ark for himself believing it had occultic powers. He sought to destroy G-d by destroying His people, yet sought to harness the Only Power he knew to be real.

1-Timothy was our closing reading. This also ends this Book. We have now completeted 17 books since Jan. 1.

Verse 12. "...you testified so well to your faith before many witnesses." We meditated on this verse. The testimony that others see, speaks to what is inside our hearts. The word and the action both witness to who we are. "You are what you believe," G.A.M.

Thankful for our 1100- Chapel Hour. Grateful to be able to sit and share with the mentally ans spiritually challenged. It is good to be able to proclaim the truth to the enemies of the mind.
